Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Tillr Holdings, LLC ("Tillr," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, mobile applications, marketplace, delivery, pickup, seller, support, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Tillr connects shoppers with local farmers market vendors, cottage food sellers, local shops, delivery providers, and other independent sellers. This Policy applies to shoppers, sellers, couriers, site visitors, and anyone else who interacts with the Services.

The Services are intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, place orders, sell, deliver, or otherwise use Tillr.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Tillr, we may collect:

  • Account and contact information: name, email address, phone number, delivery address, pickup details, account credentials, and communication preferences.
  • Order and marketplace information: carts, items ordered, seller interactions, substitutions, pickup windows, delivery notes, ratings, reviews, refunds, support requests, and order history.
  • Payment information: payment method details needed to process transactions, billing information, payment status, refunds, credits, and transaction records. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers; payment processors handle card processing for us.
  • Location and delivery information: delivery and pickup addresses, approximate location from your device or IP address, precise device location if you enable it, courier location while logged in, on duty, assigned, or completing an active delivery, route events, delivery confirmations, handoff details, and related logistics information.
  • Seller and courier onboarding and compliance information: business name, owner or representative contact details, government ID or identity-verification status, tax and payout information, bank or payment account tokens, business address, active business license information, and every state, local, category-specific license, permit, registration, certification, approval, or insurance required to sell on Tillr. For couriers, this may include driver's license, vehicle, insurance, eligibility, and background-check status where applicable.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, app version, pages viewed, links clicked, referring URLs, crash logs, diagnostics, and cookie or similar technology data.
  • Communications: messages, emails, calls, texts, support chats, survey responses, and feedback you send to us.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services.
  • Create accounts, process orders, facilitate payment, coordinate pickup or delivery, and provide receipts and order updates.
  • Help shoppers, sellers, and couriers communicate about orders, substitutions, availability, delivery, pickup, support, and safety.
  • Review seller eligibility, support seller onboarding, manage payouts, and help sellers maintain accurate listings, including by verifying and monitoring required seller licenses, permits, registrations, certifications, approvals, and insurance.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, policy violations, and unsafe activity.
  • Send service messages, order updates, account notices, delivery alerts, texts, push notifications, launch updates, and promotional communications where permitted by law or with required consent.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, food safety, regulatory, and dispute resolution obligations.

How we share information

We may disclose information to:

  • Sellers: shopper name, order items, substitutions, pickup or delivery window, delivery address where needed for fulfillment, delivery notes, allergy or special instructions provided with the order, limited contact details, refund/support context, and other information needed to prepare, fulfill, communicate about, refund, or support your order.
  • Couriers and delivery partners: shopper name, pickup and dropoff locations, delivery notes, limited contact details, seller location, order timing, order size, handoff confirmations, and information needed to deliver orders, confirm handoff, resolve delivery issues, and support safety.
  • Shoppers and order participants: seller profiles, listings, photos, ratings, required disclosures, order status, limited seller contact details, assigned courier name, courier location or ETA during an active delivery, and information needed to complete or resolve the order.
  • Service providers and compliance vendors: companies that help us with hosting, analytics, payments, payouts, fraud prevention, identity verification, license or permit review, background or eligibility checks, messaging, push notifications, customer support, logistics, insurance, claims, and business operations.
  • Payment and payout providers: processors and financial service providers that process shopper payments, seller payouts, refunds, and related transaction activity.
  • Legal, safety, and compliance recipients: law enforcement, regulators, courts, counterparties, or other parties when we believe disclosure is required or appropriate to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the Services. This may include seller or courier onboarding, license, permit, registration, certification, approval, insurance, tax, payout, or delivery records where needed for compliance, audits, claims, disputes, food-safety issues, or legal requests.
  • Business transaction recipients: parties involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.
  • With your direction or consent: parties you ask us to share information with.

We do not currently sell personal information, exchange it for money, or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We also do not currently use order, contact, cookie, precise location, or delivery data for third-party behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this Policy and provide required notices and choices.

Location and active delivery sharing

If you enable location permissions, Tillr may use precise device location to show nearby sellers, set delivery or pickup context, estimate routes, prevent fraud, support active orders, and improve marketplace logistics. You can disable device location permissions, but we may still use addresses, IP address, account settings, or order details to operate the Services.

When a courier is logged in, on duty, assigned, or completing an active delivery, Tillr may collect courier device location, route events, and delivery status. During an active delivery, the assigned shopper, relevant seller, Tillr support, logistics providers, and operations staff may see delivery status, route progress, courier location, or location-derived ETAs as needed for fulfillment, handoff, safety, support, and dispute resolution.

Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, and similar technologies for sign-in, security, fraud prevention, preferences, checkout, seller tools, analytics, diagnostics, performance measurement, and communications measurement.

We do not currently use these technologies to sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we add advertising or tracking tools that require additional notice, consent, or opt-out rights, we will provide them as required by law.

You can control cookies through your browser or device settings. Some controls may limit parts of the Services, including account, checkout, delivery tracking, or seller tools.

Your choices and privacy rights

You may update certain account information in the Services or by contacting us. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those messages. We may still send service, transactional, security, and legal notices.

Texts and push notifications may include order updates, delivery alerts, account notices, and promotional messages where permitted by law or with required consent. Consent to marketing texts is not required to buy from Tillr. To opt out of Tillr texts, reply STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OPT OUT, or use any other reasonable method that clearly tells us you want texts to stop. You can disable push notifications in your device settings. Opting out may limit real-time order updates, and we may use other permitted channels for service or legal notices.

You can disable precise location permissions in your browser or device settings. Disabling location may limit nearby seller discovery, delivery estimates, courier tracking, or other location-based features.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your personal information, access it, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling, limit certain sensitive-data uses, or withdraw consent where applicable.

To make a privacy request, email contact@gettillr.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and you do not need to create a new account to submit one. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. Where required, we will respond within 45 days and may extend once for another 45 days if reasonably necessary.

If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing contact@gettillr.appwith "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line within a reasonable time after our decision. We will respond in writing within the time required by law. For Kentucky residents, we will respond to an appeal within 60 days after receipt and, if the appeal is denied, provide an online mechanism or other method to contact the Kentucky Attorney General.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, operate the marketplace, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support legitimate business needs.

Account and contact information is generally kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure. Order, payment, refund, chargeback, tax, accounting, and support records may be kept longer for business, legal, and dispute purposes. Seller and courier onboarding, license, permit, registration, certification, approval, insurance, identity, payout, tax, and compliance records may be kept during the relationship and afterward as needed for audits, claims, food-safety issues, regulatory requests, insurance, payment, tax, and legal obligations. Location, route, delivery confirmation, and courier-status records are kept as needed for active delivery, support, safety, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations. Cookie, analytics, diagnostics, communications, consent, and preference records are kept based on operational need and applicable law.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will always remain secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

Age restrictions

The Services are intended for adults only and are not directed to children or minors. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account, place orders, sell, deliver, or use Tillr. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide additional notice where required by law.
